What is Ayurveda based on?
The oldest Ayurveda healing book explains that our solar system consists of the 5 basic elements earth, water, fire, space and air and that the fundamental principles of the three doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha) develop from this. Ayurvedic teaching, the doshas are the body’s own vital forces that each person brings into existence in a certain mixture.

Even at birth, the dominance of the individual balance of power of Vata, Pitta and Kapha forms the physical shape of a person and also determines his personal disposition, likes and dislikes.
Achieving this flowing balance and bringing it into harmony is an important part of ayurvedic diagnosis, treatments and cures and supports people in their diversity and uniqueness towards holistic health.
